Description

The Ridge Top Trail follows a mellow ridgeline at the preserve's eastern edge. As it travels north from the Black Jack Trail it provides views of Laguna Canyon on the left and the local communities of Aliso Viejo on the right. The trail is just under a mile long and it passes the Wood's End Trail at the half-way mark and ends at a junction with the Edison Trail and Gravel Trail.

Both lead to Barbara's Lake, but the Edison Trail has a better view of the lake, while the Gravel Trail just visits the lower tip of the lake.
