Description

This trail is a mostly-shaded, gently-graded trail along the southeastern edge of Anthony Chabot Regional Park. It connects a (free) parking area at Regional Parks Public Safety Headquarters with Proctor Staging Area on Redwood Road.

If you begin at Public Safety Headquarters, this trail winds downhill gradually through chaparral and some trees. It meets Cameron Loop Trail, which drops to the left. This trail, along with Cameron Loop Trail, continues ahead along the southeastern boundary of the park, with houses just over the fence. Soon, Cameron Loop Trail veers left and this trail continues ahead. Soon afterward, this trail meets the top of Proctor Trail, which veers left. This trail continues along the park boundary until it reaches Brandon Trail adjacent to Redwood Road.
