Description

This trail doesn't get near the traffic as the rest of Rockwood Reservation, but it's worth including. The counter clockwise ascent is the best half mile of elevation of any nearby trail. It's really a beautiful hike all the way around. Don't let the short distance fool you; it's a workout!

Flora & Fauna

You'll see deer and squirrels of course. On the lower part, you'll possibly run into armadillos. And, of course, you'll see turkey. The section nearest the trail has pine trees that give the section a nice forest feel.
