Description

Aside from a few low-grade hills, Paved Ridge Trail is an easier trail that gives access to every single other trail in the park. Since it's paved, you might see families with their baby strollers or children on their bikes etc. Those who live in the neighborhood will frequent this trail from the northeast side as well.

When you start from the parking lot, you'll pass by the ranger's quarters and work your way up a small slope to the pond that you can fish in. Continuing onward, you'll see forks on the trail for Panorama, Pomo, and South Loop all in one spot. Passing these will eventually lead you to a Filaree Trail option, or you can head to the overlook near the neighborhood and check out an awesome view of Sonoma County's mountains and cities to the northwest.
