Description

This trail heads through the 8-acre sanctuary, which is owned and managed by North Shore Land Alliance.

On this shorter, out-and-back trail, hikers will have the opportunity to admire a red maple woodland that surrounds a freshwater swamp. This wetland habitat provides plenty of opportunities to observe green herons, wood ducks and a chorus of frogs.

Flora & Fauna

Green herons, wood ducks and many noisy frog species call the area home.
