A great hike to the summit up a clay foot path trail which some parts of the terrain are steep and rocky.

Overview

If you're hoping to reach not one but two summits on a manageable stretch of trail, this is a great option. With great views from Mt. LamLam and from Mt. Jumullong Manglo, the effort is well rewarded.

Description

Park across the road in the parking lot of the overlook, and the trail that starts across from the parking lot and is clay and rocky and climbs at a decent incline. I have seen children complete the trail, just accommodate for the pace. Bring a good amount of water and sunscreen since 95% of the trail is not covered. When you get to the fork, the summit of Mt. Jumullong Manglo is to the right and to the left is a path that continue to the summit of Mt. LamLam. There is also a separate trail that returns to the road, but it is not mapped here.

I recommend heading to the summit of Mt. LamLam before returning to the fork and taking the Mt. Jumullong Manglo Trail to the second summit. Once you've enjoyed the views and perhaps had a snack, return the way that you came to return to the parking area.
