To hike the 1.8-mile Ramona Falls Trail #797 requires you to hike the Sandy River Trail #770 and PCT #2000 to get to it. The Ramona Falls Trail is the north part of the Ramona Falls Loop, a 7-mile round trip loop taking in the Sandy River canyon and the iconic Ramona Falls. The Ramona Falls Trail, is the wetter, cooler side of the loop. If it is blistering hot, you might consider going up and back on the Ramona Falls Trail rather than doing the Sandy River side of the trail loop.

This section of the Ramona Falls loop crosses creek and are more likely to have wildflowers and diverse plants than drier Sandy River side.
