This loop features a wooded trail that wasn't too crowded but very well kept. Grades were moderate for very short spurts, and the whole trail was well marked. Views of St. Mary Lake can be had throughout the trail, but most of the time was spent in trees. There is a huge parking lot at trailhead with plenty of spaces.
Great trail with views of the lake. Usually see a few mountain bikes. My 7 year old daughter did this trail with no problems (she’s a great hiker)!!
