Family Friendly As a longer but more mellow alternative to some of the other trails in the park, this is a good option for families.

Description

The Creekside Trail is a much easier option to get to the east side of the park with much lower grades than the North Ridge Trail. It's well shaded throughout most of the day and follows along the seasonal creek that flows from the pond. There's a lot of biology and botany to pay attention to on this trail. Please don't disturb any birds' nests that are made in the eroded soil and roots on the side of the trail!
