This steep doubletrack path provides the primary access to the base of the Kampenwand. It winds past three restaurants and is multi-use so keep your eyes up for any mountain bikers on their well-earned descents. This is a wide path, making it a great option for groups who like to hike together.

This route takes you out of the dense woods into the scenic alpine meadows. Remember to scan the sky for paragliders and hang-gliders who love to soar around this area.
