“A beautiful grass path that loops through scenic meadows and past a koi pond.
”
Family Friendly
It is a quiet and easy path that loops in a small easy to follow circle starting and leading back to the limestone trail and less than a mile from a parking lot.
Description
This small grass path loop offers a beautiful poetic hideaway off the main path. Butterflies are in abundance in season, and koi fish can be spotted in a small man-made pond from an artistic arched footbridge. Tall grasses and wildflowers make great hide and seek cover for the little ones. It is managed and maintained as a "wild" garden, a great spot to relax, snap pictures, and capture the best of each season. It is especially beautiful in the late summer and mid-fall.
This loop is located less than a mile from the bike rental parking off of the limestone path of North Country Trail. Signs marking it are located on the left side. It is wheelchair accessible, but wheelchairs may need assistance with the soft limestone. The loop itself is a wide grassy path.
