Family Friendly Kids will love searching for wildlife along this trail.

Cosumnes River Preserve is open daily from sunrise to sunset.

Description

The River Walk Trail is formed by a series of raised levees that twist about from woodland to grassland. Along this three-mile loop, visitors can find various plants, birds, and wildlife, making this a trail primed for quiet exploration. As the surrounding floodplains fill through the winter, the trail may become impassable.
