Description
From the Bull's Island parking lot, carefully cross RT 29 and bear to the right. You'll find the trailhead with a large map showing you points of interest. It's not very well marked at first. Shortly into the trail, you'll come to a three way split.
The trail to the left will take you to the quarry which appears to be a delightful swimming hole. The trail to the right dead ends quickly. The trail in the middle, that heads up along a wall, is the one you want. This is where you'll notice your first trail marker, a metallic blue circle with an arrow in it. You'll also notice markers with a tree that are numbered. They are points of interest that the trailhead map describes.
You'll eventually come out on a stone road. Turn left and you'll find the trail picks up again on the right-hand side of the road about 100 feet down. This part of the trail is really pretty with some little bridges crossing over creeks.
This will also come to another road. Continue straight onto Raven Rock Road for about a quarter of a mile until you get to a one lane bridge. At this bridge is a little parking lot.
