A moderately steep trail with uneven footing and frequent rocks and roots, featuring boulder outcrops, stream crossings, meadows, and an 85-acre beaver marsh. The great habitat diversity supports equally diverse assemblages of organisms, including huge frog populations, spring wildflowers, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, and mushrooms.

Description

A moderately steep trail with uneven footing and frequent rocks and roots, featuring boulder outcrops, stream crossings, meadows, and an 85-acre beaver marsh. Head out on this loop in a counter-clockwise direction from the parking area across from the Office and Visitor Info station.
