Description

Starting off from the Fire Access Road, Stanwood greets hikers with a short climb up through an open area, followed by a somewhat steep descent as the trail winds back into the trees. The second half of the trail will give you a good workout as you have a steady half-mile ascent to connect back to the Fire Access Road. While the trail is very manageable, it is a little bit more challenging than the other trails in Parma Park due to the slightly steeper grades.

Flora & Fauna

Chaparral, oak woodland, riparian forest, coastal sage scrub, and remnant patches of native grassland.
