Need to Know

There is a detour at the end that routes down one of the sand roads. It is very difficult to miss. It is at the intersection of sand roads that cross a bridge. If you are feeling adventurous, you could head across the bridge and follow the old trail, which includes a river crossing. I prefer the old route, personally. 3/9/2020: Good news. The bridge for the old route has been replaced. No more detour.

Description

This trail is a good, moderate-length point-to-point between Atsion and Batsto.

Flora & Fauna

Expect standard Pine Barrens fare, although at night there are a multitude of owls that can be heard, as well as coyotes.
