Overview
This hike is located in Crow Hassan Park Reserve and winds through a mixed-use trail where you'll find hikers, trail runners, horseback riders, and dog walkers.
Description
The trail is a mix of dirt, gravel, and sand. The sandy parts can get pretty loose. No major difficulties here beyond the trail maps being a little inconsistent in highlighting the trails that are actually available in the park. This trail system can be a bit tricky to navigate (especially in the dark) as they don't number the trail loops, but instead number the sections. Those sections are identified at most trail intersections.
If you have any doubt you'll be able to navigate, be sure to bring your phone with the
Hiking Project mobile app to keep you on track.
Flora & Fauna
The trails here wind through a mix of prairie and forest where you'll see deer, coyote, rabbits, owls, ducks, and more.
