The trail has several wooden platforms so hikers can sit and watch the wildlife in the wetlands. The elevated areas help to keep visitor's feet dry, while still allowing for access into this unique ecosystem. The trail makes its way through mostly grass, which means that shade is at a premium. Be sure the bring sun protection on this one.
