Due to flooding, parts of the trail has been washed out and some of the bridges are in need of repair as of fall 2016.

Description

A nice leisurely trail that travels from the campground over rolling terrain. Hikers will encounter some of the tallest pine trees in Texas on this short trail. Where it turns to the west, the Tall Pines Trail overlaps the 4 C National Recreation Trail and both trails overlap the Trail Tamers Trail in the last half-mile before the parking area.
