Family Friendly Flat and easy with lots of plants and wildlife with a river at the end, this is a great trip for the whole family.

Reservations are required May 15 - Sep 30, and can be made < ahref="https://parks.traviscountytx.gov/reservations/hamilton-pool">online.

Description

After descending a shorter portion of the Hamilton Pool Loop from the parking lot, take a left at the forked trail. There should be some port-a-potties at the fork if need be. From here, follow the creek to the river. At the river, take a dip amongst the rocks under the hot Texas sun.
