Family Friendly A short, easily accessible trail with the chance to see a small waterfall, wildflowers in season, and local wildlife.

Description

The orange-blazed Cascade Trail branches off from the Flat Rock Spur Trail a short distance from the Evans Mill Trailhead parking lot off of Evans Mill Road. The trail heads south, following along Pole Bridge Creek where you'll enjoy the cascading rapids for which the trail is named. Keep your eyes open for the variety of wildlife that visit the creek, and for the blooms that grace the water's edge in season.

After about 0.3 miles, the trail will turn to the east, away from Pole Bridge Creek, and you'll hike another half mile before coming to a junction with the Wilburn Farm Trail and the Flat Rock Spur Trail.
