Description
Fisher Loop is a nice, short 1-mile trail connected directly to the campsites! This trail follows along one of the bends in the river through the woods. Towards the beginning, there is a nice large bridge that crosses the river and allows direct access down the riverside, one of the few spots in the park where you can directly access the river.
The trail is easily manageable for anyone, and there are no steep sections or rough ground. Sidenote: For some reason, this section of trail has a particular issue with mosquitoes in the evening, more so than any of the other trails in the park, so bring plenty of bug spray if hiking at sunset!
