Description

1/4 gravel road, 3/4 dirt trail, this first access trail passes through a moss-covered, rocky canyon where a pretty stream trickles around boulders. Enjoy the shade of the forest canopy on hot summer days, and the wind break in the winter.

It is possible to go CW (clockwise) or CCW (counterclockwise), on this multi-use recreational trail-loop. The loop unites the dog park and frisbee golf areas, and provides access to the stacked loop trails.

Take the Creekside Cutoff in order to shorten this loop for the straightest shot possible.

Please do not shortcut the trail levels by cutting into the woods between terraced levels. The trail system is a sustainable design for limited maintenance - and making your own way straight downhill/uphill is not a sustainable form of travel nor a long term best practice.
