Description
The
Spring Trail goes along the stream branch from the spring to the dam at the hatchery area within the Bennett Spring State Park. This mostly flat and narrow trail includes grasses and wildflowers associated with cold water, and views of the flowing stream full of trout and fishermen. This trail is considered one of the most enjoyable in the park for those of all ages and hiking experience level.
Flora & Fauna
The wooded areas support abundant wildlife including deer, squirrels, chipmunks, many woodland birds and insects, including ticks. This area contains many of the wildflowers enjoyed along the trail.
