Description

Although not very long, the Dry Pond trail manages to fit in some steeps as hikers climb the switchbacks from the Upper Thomas Creek Trail to the saddle where Dry Pond is nestled on the ridge. If you visit early enough in the year, the shallow depression might contain some moisture. On the other side, the trail continues toward the White Creek Trail along a slightly less steep descent with fewer switchbacks.

This trail is also frequented by mountain bikers, so be aware as you hike.
