Description

Across the southwest section of Irvine Regional Park, this easy trail parallels Puma Ridge Trail. However, unlike Puma Ridge Trail, this one is manageable for anyone with any level of experience in the outdoors. As you may have guessed, the Horseshoe Loop Trail encircles the entire park and is broken up by roads or other sections of trail, but can make a terrific loop for visitors looking for a longer hike in the park. In the northern section of the park, the trail briefly links of up with Santiago Creek Trail to make the full loop.

Puma Ridge>Horseshoe Loop. Not one of my personal faves (a little too much pavement for me), but my husband loves the differing scenery. 3.8mi — 1h 28m
