Family Friendly
This trail is easy to navigate and is well shaded. There is not much variety in vegetation, but it is good quality native habitat.
The preserve and trails are closed from June through the end of September each year, Christmas week, and New Years Day.
Description
This route is an alternate branch of the Tuscawilla Trail that runs through pine flatwoods out to the south easement road.
Flora & Fauna
Pine flatwood forest with cabbage palms, live and laurel oaks, and other hardwoods. Cattle are often seen along this trail, as well as bobcat and deer. Panther and bear are also present.
