Description

This is the main trail at Great Hills Park and it connects from the Sierra Oaks Trailhead to the Floral Park Trailhead. As the short trail gradually descends, it borders and crosses a number of creeks that travel through the park. As you hike, keep an eye out for local birds and some bat homes that have been placed along the trail.

Flora & Fauna

Great Hills Park Committee has compiled a visual list of plants that can be found in the park, to visit their page click here.

Look carefully near Laurel Oaks Creek and you may find interesting fossils.

Laurel Oaks Creek runs alongside and across the trail in several places. Great spot to sit with a cup of coffee and hang with your dog.
