Starting from the intersection of Hawley Gultch, this southeast section of 4 wheeler trail goes up a gentle climb that leads to an impressive overlook of the Snake River Plain. This is a great 2 mile out & back to add to your hike in Kelly Canyon that connects with other trails/roads.

A little past the .5-mile mark the trail will turn into a dirt road if you go to the left. Stay to the right on the 4-wheeler section. There are 2 marked singletrack sections that shoot off to the right of this trail that are quick out and backs one can take. Once you get to the top of the trail, you can continue down the other side, but it is steep and remember, what goes down must come up!
