Description

This wide fire road climbs gently from Twin Elk Lake and becomes gradually steeper until the summit at .84 miles. The road follows a small stream that feeds Twin Elk Lake, and there is a very beautiful meadow at the .5 mile mark. Despite the relatively unremarkable, featureless trail, the scenery is very good. The trail continues downhill into a four way intersection. This downhill section becomes more rutted, featured, wooded, and narrow but is quite fun.
