Family Friendly An easy out and back that can be combined with lower Old Briones Road Trail for kids or beginners.

Description

This trail is wide and gently graded (until the very end), and leads from the Bear Creek staging area to Briones Crest Trail. Formerly known as the Homestead Valley Trail, the Seaborg Trail passes through an oak-dotted valley. The trail serves as a connection to Briones Crest Trail for the start of a counter-clockwise loop. Don't get too comfortable on the gentle grade though, as there is a short, steep pitch just before reaching the crest.
