Description
From the parking lot, use the northern trailhead that appears to be a dirt road. Follow this trail, heading in the clockwise direction until you come to a 4-way intersection. From the intersection, make a right to remain on this trail and complete Loop A. Continuing straight will connect to Loop B, which creates a figure 8 trail with Loop A. Since you stuck with Loop A, eventually the trail will meet another intersection, this time of 5 trails. Again the right-most path,
Christmas Road, which will take you back to your car.
This trail is well maintained, but is plagued by excessive flooding, especially on the northeast leg, which can easily see up to 16" of water. This is still a great trail if you don't mind getting a little wet!
Flora & Fauna
Black and yellow garden spiders (not bananna spiders), owls, hogs, alligators, and corn snakes.
