Description

The Yellow Trail starts in the farmyard and heads out counterclockwise via the dirt farm road to the gazebo meadow and the pumpkin meadow. The Yellow Trail ducks into the woods at about the 3/4 mile point. It is the outer perimeter trail for much of the northern part of the park.

The trail passes the Green Trail, staying to the right and keeping the perimeter. About 1/2 a mile later, it passes the other end of the Green Trail. By then you are on a one mile gradual climb up to the first meadow trail section.

After the first meadow, you'll pass the Blue Trail entrance on your left. Continue past this trail, and in a short span, you'll pass the Wood Street Access Trail on your right. Continue past that trail, and you'll get to the weather station meadow flats.

About 2/3rds of the way into the meadow, the Yellow Trail turns left, at the junction with the White Trail which continues along the perimeter. At this point the Yellow Trail joins up with the northern part of the White Trail loop and splits off from there to the left in about 4/10 of a mile. After about 0.5 miles, it passes a junction with the Blue Trail and heads back towards the farmyard downhill.
