Description
This trail diverges from the South Boise Trail #101A, following Cannon Creek. A few switchbacks and a traverse gets you to the lake, and you are there in a jiffy. There is a little room to camp at the base of the lake and there are rumors of a trail to the upper lake with it's own views and splendor. It's worth the short side trip even if you are just headed through.
