Description

The Cane Creek Trail connects Sugar Tree Hollow Trail #407 in the south with Forest Service Road 121 to the north. The trail is mostly flat and follows the creek for the most part, offering a peaceful journey through the forest with the sound of the creek for company. The trail is well maintained singletrack and mostly easy to follow.

To access the trail from Forest Service Road 121 you must cross the creek, so be aware of water levels. To access the trail from the south, park at the Bald Rock Picnic Area and take Sugar Tree Hollow Trail #407 down the hill to the signed junction.

Towards the southern end the trail crosses some private land, including skirting a clearing containing a barn and cabin. Please be respectful to the land owners, and stick to the trail in this section.
