Features River/Creek · Waterfall

Family Friendly A nearby park with a basketball court and easy trails make this an excellent option for families.

The trail has been damaged because of recent storms. One bridge is out, but the creek there is low and easy to cross. Use appropriate caution on the trails in the area.

Description

Park at either the south or north lots, as this trail can be accessed from either. The trail is well marked, and generally wide enough for two hikers to navigate the way side by side. Gravel-covered, it weaves northeast crossing a dozen bridges over the creek. After half a mile (from either entrance), you arrive at a 20-ft high waterfall with stairs and bridges leading up its side. The trail is clear overhead generally, but the valley is cool and isolated from the surrounding neighborhoods.
