Overview

Thes route is ideal to do in the morning even with children or the whole family in tow. There are spectacular views of the Nardis waterfalls along the way, adding to the journey. There is also the possibility of returning to the trailhead by public transport (only in season), which can shorten your journey if you're feeling tired.

Description

Park your car at Carisolo gym. Follow the signs to the old glass factory, passing by the church of Santa Maria Del Potere. Once past the wooden bridge over the Sarca, take the right and go up to the dam. Continue on the paved road to the waterfall trail, which takes you up to the Nardis Waterfall. On the way back, follow the path of the falls on the left bank of the river Sarca and then take the road to Santo Stefano (gravel driveway) that will take you to the beautiful and picturesque church of Santo Stefano and then will return you to the starting point.

Parcheggiate la macchina alla palestra di Carisolo. Seguite le indicazioni per l'antica vetreria, passando per la chiesetta di Santa Maria del potere. Una volta passato il ponte di legno sul Sarca, prendete sentire sulla destra e salite fino alla diga. Continuate sulla strada asfaltata fino al sentiero delle cascate, che vi condurrà fino alla cascata Nardis. Al ritorno, seguite il sentiero delle cascate sulla riva sinistra del torrente Sarca e poi prendete la via di Santo Stefano (carrabile sterrata) che vi porterà alla splendida e suggestiva chiesetta di Santo Stefano e poi vi farà ritornare al punto di partenza.
