Description

Hike along the east side of the Hells Canyon Wilderness Area with access to several trails leading both up and down the side of the mountain. While this route is great on its own, be sure to check out some of the short side trips up leading up to viewpoints of the various small lakes above the trail. The views can be spectacular, and the side trips are often worthwhile. This trail ends up moving in and out of the wilderness area a lot and you'll want to be sure to register at the trailhead.
