Description
This paved path is a very easy, mostly level off-road trail from Lake Springfield up to multiple Eastern Springfield suburbs. The path connects to the Nature Center Trail near the southern end, offering an educational stopping point.
The trail passes through Sequiota Park along the way, which makes for another enjoyable stopping point, especially for families. Used by various pedestrians and cyclists, this path can be quite popular. Please keep an eye or an ear out for other visitors.
This route crosses busy roads at several points, but is mostly away from traffic, which provides a much more pleasant hiking experience than simply taking the sidewalk.
Parking is available at the southern end next to old bridge or at Sequiota Park.
