Family Friendly A relatively flat, easy, and mostly paved path along the lake makes for easy navigation for the whole family.

Description

Starting at trailhead near the Lake Chabot parking lot, head out past the concession building to the paved path with the lake on your right. Enjoy the beautiful views of Lake Chabot with some rolling hills and easy climbing along the way to the dam.

Once you reach the dam, the trail will deviate from the lakeshore, heading west along the dam's outflow. You'll make your way west for another small portion, before the trail dead-ends near a housing development.
