Family Friendly As a shorter route that includes a "summit" goal, youngsters will enjoy heading out on this one.

Description

The trail is mostly singletrack that turns into a wider old forest road near the north end at the top of the trail. While the grades are challenging, the trail isn't overly strenuous, and this is especially pleasant as it is well-shaded.

The trail has yellow blazes every 10-20 yards, so navigating isn't too confusing. There are a few sections that cross over old forest roads that are frequented by ATV riders, so keep an ear out and be sure to look both ways.

Flora & Fauna

You'll enjoy traveling beneath a mixed forest.
