Parking can be found at nearby Hermann Park, along Main Street or in any of the paid lots on the campus proper. Water faucets are located alongside the trail, though bathrooms are trickier to find. One can hike this trail alone or link up to others in the area as this is one of the more pedestrian friendly areas of Houston. Do be mindful of traffic, as many of the entrances and exits to lots along the trail are closed and chained though a couple are always open and generally active.
