Family Friendly Though titled the "long loop" this route is still fairly short, with gentle grades that are perfect for the whole family.

Description

A scenic loop that includes a beautiful cross-section of the Sonoran Desert with a great chance to see jackrabbits, quail and mule deer. This is a great extension of the Black Rock Short Loop, and passes through similar terrain on the same well-maintained trail. This route will have a little bit of elevation gain and loss as you head west, but not enough to be tiresome. Enjoy the views and the relaxing trail!
