The yellow trail offers a nice loop that connects the red trail with the purple trail. Starting from the intersection with the Purple Loop and the Panhandle Connector Trail, the trail traverses through a rooty wooded area, continuing south to begin the loop before coming back north on the other side. Over the course of this loop, hikers will end up bisecting the purple trail.

Before getting to the road where the trail comes to an end, the route will continue on its rooty, winding course. All in all, this is a nice short loop.
