Family Friendly A relatively easy trail with plenty to explore in this lush forest!

Description

The Forest Trail starts just outside the Glacier Bay village, between the village and campground. It starts from the Beach Trail, and heads directly away from the water, as it goes into the tall fir trees of the moss forest. Lush vegetation covers the ground between the trees. Everything is moist.

Flora & Fauna

Northern rainforest - tall fir trees, lush vegetation, colorful mushrooms in late summer.
