Description

Sand Lick Fork is the backbone of ORV traffic in this area of Powell County. Generally following the creek, this gravel strewn trail will make your hiking footwear earn its keep.

With multiple creek crossings and sandy soils you just can't avoid the wear and tear, but all that money you'll spend on replacing shoes aside, this is a fun hike with a tough climb or descent at the south end.

This begins on the edge of the National Forest and continues through the undeveloped Hollerwood Off-road Park.
