Description

Tarr Ridge is a great ridge-top trail following an old logging road out the crest of the ridge. At the south end, the trail culminates at an incredible overlook. The overgrown road passes through pine groves, open hardwood forest and along narrow sections of ridge. This is a great, easy trip in a nice setting. Due to lack of maintenance this trail may be easier to access during the winter when it is easier to pass through the growth.

Brush is already getting big and poison ivy over growing. If you can go in the winter it's worth the easy trek to the ridge. 2.8mi

Terrible do not waste your time. Very overgrown, lots of poison ivy / high grass and bugs. You can't get to the overlook due to massive overgrowth
