Description

The Gorge Trail #400 is a 35 mile long trail that runs along Interstate 84 (which can be noisy in spots) and can be accessed from various trailheads to make up many different routes. This portion of the Gorge Trail heads from the John Yeon Park Trailhead (no fee) to Tanner Creek Trailhead (fee site).

This section of the trail is a great option for an easy hike for hikers of all ages. Keep an eye open for the many wildflowers along the trail during the early spring, including the beautiful calypso orchids. The trail also passes by impressive towering basalt cliffs.
