Park after Spooner's Cove in the same area you would park for the Bluff Trail. Locate the Valencia Peak trailhead sign on the east side of the road and follow the trail and signs to the peak. Most of this trail is exposed, so sunscreen is essential. The lower parts of the trail are pretty smooth and flowing with little to no debris. Once you start the steeper ascent, there are many more hazards, primarily loose rocks.
