Description

The trail starts off with some flat-ish terrain, though it's bumpy (as is typical for this area) so you won't set any records through this singletrack section. There are great views of the La Sals, Monitor and Merrimac mesas, and Arches National Park off in the distance.

Pass through various washes and alternate between old jeep roads and sections of singletrack. There are lots of intersections, so pay attention to the blue paint marks, the signs, and use the Hiking Project mobile app to keep on the right trail.

The trail finishes at the road near the second hairpin turn but there's no sign and it's a little tricky to find. Look for the big swathe of slickrock and a few cairns.

Overall, it's a good trail, but not quite up there with others in the area.
